Iran-US short title ‘Vida’ themed on Trump's travel ban has revealed trailer

Directed by Bita Elahian, the 10-minute flick is about US President Donald Trump’s travel ban imposed on many Muslim countries, especially Iran, in 2017.

Just as this ban came into action, a mother of Iranian origin, Vida who lives in the US, was going to the airport to welcome her daughter.

Vida couldn’t meet her daughter because they sent her back to Iran without even giving a chance to intervene.

Nothing would be the same anymore and a week later the events started to take a different shape.

This is a true story about Trump’s immigrant policy and the way his decision affects a family.

Brian Reilly, Michael Ralff, Flavia Foukas, and the director Elahian are on the cast list of the short title.

‘Vida’ has received an award at the Indie & Foreign Film Festival in the US.
